Cookie Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Eefernal Fog uses cookies and similar technologies on eefernal.cc, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. Some are essential to run a site; others are optional and, under EU/UK rules, generally require consent before use.
2. Our consent approach (GDPR / ePrivacy)
- Non-essential technologies are off by default until you opt in.
- You can Accept all, Reject optional, or Manage categories.
- You can reopen settings anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer.
- Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
3. Categories we use
3.1 Necessary (always active)
Required to provide the service you request and to keep basic security and consent controls working.
| Name / storage | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
ef_cookie_consent_v1 | Stores your cookie category choices so we can honour them on later visits | Until cleared or updated | Local storage (first-party) |
3.2 Preferences (optional)
Would remember non-essential interface choices. Not used unless you enable this category. None are active by default today beyond the consent record above.
3.3 Analytics (optional)
Would help us understand aggregate traffic and performance. No analytics cookies or scripts load unless you enable Analytics. If we add a provider later, we will update this table and only activate it after consent.
3.4 Marketing (optional)
Would support advertising or remarketing. Not used unless you enable Marketing. None are deployed by default today.
4. Server logs (not browser cookies)
Visiting the Website or CDN may create server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL). Those are not cookies; they are described in the Privacy Policy and are used for security and operations under legitimate interests where applicable.
5. Third-party services you choose to open
If you click through to Discord, Ko-fi, or other external sites, those services may set their own cookies under their policies. That happens on their domains after you leave eefernal.cc.
6. How to control cookies
- Use our on-site banner / Cookie settings controls
- Clear site data for eefernal.cc in your browser settings
- Use browser controls to block cookies globally (note: blocking all storage may reset your consent choice)
7. Updates
We will update this Policy when our technologies change. Check the “Last updated” date above.
